ECU repair FAQ

Car ECU repair at The Logiq Lab is quoted after a board-level diagnosis. Pricing depends on the specific fault, the module type, and required components. No fix, no fee applies — if we cannot repair the ECU you pay nothing for the repair attempt. Contact us with your vehicle make, model, and fault codes for a pre-assessment.
We repair engine control units (ECU/PCM/ECM) with faults including no-start conditions (crank but no start), persistent fault codes after reset, communication errors on the CAN bus, burned driver transistors, failed voltage regulators, shorted relay outputs, corrupted EEPROM or flash memory, and water-damaged circuit boards.
Yes. Water and condensation damage is one of the most common ECU faults we see in Lebanon's climate. We disassemble the module, clean the board with isopropyl alcohol to remove corrosion and mineral deposits, inspect every component under magnification, and replace failed parts. Success rate depends on how long the ECU was exposed to moisture.
Most ECU hardware repairs do not require reprogramming if we are only replacing failed components and the original EEPROM data is intact. If the EEPROM or flash memory is corrupted, reprogramming may be required. We advise on this as part of the diagnosis and quote process. We do not offer standalone ECU programming services without an accompanying repair.
Yes. We accept mail-in ECU repairs from Beirut, Tripoli, Sidon, Jounieh, and all regions. Remove the ECU from the vehicle before shipping — do not ship it installed in a harness. Pack it in an anti-static bag inside a padded box. We diagnose and quote before any paid work begins.
We repair ECUs from a wide range of brands including Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Mitsubishi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, Audi, Kia, Hyundai, and others. Contact us with your vehicle make, model, year, and module part number for a quick pre-assessment before shipping.
