How The Logiq Lab collects, uses, and protects your personal information.

Last updated: June 30, 2026

The Logiq Lab ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website at thelogiqlab.com and provides electronics repair services and parts sales. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and what rights you have regarding your data.

By using our website or services, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide Directly

When you interact with our website or services, you may provide:

  • Account information: First name, last name, email address, and optional phone number when you create an account.
  • Contact form submissions: Name, email, service type, and the message content you submit through our contact form.
  • Repair intake information: Device description, fault description, and contact details provided when dropping off a device for repair.
  • Booking information: Name, phone, email, preferred time slot, and service description when booking a repair appointment.
  • Payment information: We do not store payment card details. Any payment processing is handled in person.

Information Collected Automatically

  • Authentication tokens: When you sign in, session tokens are stored in your browser's localStorage to keep you signed in across visits.
  • Usage data: We do not run third-party analytics trackers. Standard web server logs may record your IP address, browser type, and pages visited for security and diagnostic purposes.

Information from Third-Party Sign-In

If you sign in using Google OAuth, we receive your name and email address from Google as part of the authentication process. We do not receive your Google password or access to your Google account beyond the information you authorise.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • Service delivery: To process repair jobs, provide status updates, issue invoices, and communicate with you about your device.
  • Account management: To maintain your account, track loyalty points, and apply tier discounts.
  • Customer communication: To respond to your contact form submissions, booking requests, and support enquiries.
  • Repair tracking: To allow you to look up the status of a repair by ticket number. Signed-in accounts can also view repairs linked to their profile.
  • Service improvement: To understand which services are most in demand and improve our offerings.
  • Legal compliance: To meet any obligations under applicable Lebanese law or legitimate business requirements.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your information for advertising profiling or share it with marketing platforms.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in Supabase, a managed PostgreSQL database platform. Supabase stores data in EU-based data centres with encryption at rest and in transit (TLS 1.2+).

We implement the following security measures:

  • Row-level security (RLS) policies restrict database access so users can only read their own account and linked repair data
  • Public repair status lookup uses a ticket-only API — repair records are not publicly browsable; only a valid ticket number returns limited status fields
  • Admin operations require authenticated admin accounts
  • HTTPS is enforced on all pages - unencrypted HTTP connections are redirected
  • Sensitive directories and file types are blocked from public access via server configuration
No system is completely secure. While we take reasonable precautions to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account or data has been compromised, contact us immediately at thelogiqlab@gmail.com.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

  • Supabase (supabase.com) - database and authentication. Your account data and repair records are stored here. Supabase Privacy Policy.
  • Google OAuth - optional sign-in method. If used, Google processes your authentication. Google Privacy Policy.
  • Google Fonts - font files are loaded from Google's CDN on page load. Google may log this request. You can block this via a browser extension if preferred.
  • Font Awesome (Cloudflare CDN) - icon library loaded from a CDN. No personal data is sent.
  • WhatsApp - the WhatsApp chat button links to our business number. If you click it, you leave our website and WhatsApp's privacy policy applies.

5. Cookies & Local Storage

We use browser localStorage (not traditional cookies) to store your session token when you sign in. This keeps you signed in between visits. You can clear this by signing out or clearing your browser's site data.

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party cookies placed by advertisers.

Standard browser cookies may be set by Google Fonts or Font Awesome CDN for caching purposes - these do not contain personal information.

6. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access: You can view your account information and repair history by logging into your account.
  • Correction: You can update your name and phone number via the "Settings" section in your account.
  • Deletion: You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at thelogiqlab@gmail.com. Note that repair records may be retained for legitimate business and warranty purposes.
  • Data portability: You may request a copy of your personal data we hold in a common format.
  • Withdrawal of consent: You may stop using our services and request account deletion at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at thelogiqlab@gmail.com with the subject line "Data Request." We will respond within 30 days.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for the following periods:

  • Account data: Retained for as long as your account is active. Deleted upon verified account deletion request.
  • Repair records: Retained for a minimum of 2 years from the repair date for warranty and dispute purposes.
  • Contact form submissions: Retained for 12 months, then deleted unless part of an ongoing support case.
  • Booking records: Retained for 12 months after the appointment date.
  • Points history: Retained for the lifetime of your account.

8. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify active users via email or a notice on the website.
